Something that people use to increase happiness but it's terrible to use
Don't do drugs because if you overdose to much you could die
Anything that:
A: changes your perception with or without your consent, for better or for worse
B: people can blame their stupidity on.
Drugs add new things to you, new thoughts and new feelings. For better, or for worse.
A: i took some drugs, and boy did i see things differently after that.
B: it wasn't my fault! I was drunk!
