The most oppressed group in the world. Also the group with the biggest peepees but never get coochie

We're a group of people who will sit for hours, days, even weeks on end performing some of the hardest, most mentally demanding tasks. Over, and over, and over, all for nothing more than a little digital token saying we did.
We'll punish our selfs doing things others would consider torture because we think it's fun.
We'll spend most if not all of our free time min maxing the stats of a fictional character all to draw out a single extra point of damage per second.
Many of us have made careers out of doing just these things: slogging through the grind, all day, the same quests over and over, hundreds of times to the point where we know every little detail such that some have attained such gamer nirvana that they can literally play these games blindfolded.
Gamers are competative, hard core, by nature. We love a challange. The worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us. You're not special, you're not original, you're not the first; this is just another boss fight.
Me: You messed with gamers
Jocker: Gamers rise up!

Gamers are cool people who play video games. They have such systems like xbox, playstation, nintendo, and sega.
Even though I think the xbox sucks, I have met a lot of gamers who are really cool.
Gamers are known to have good minds because they use different parts of their brains while playing games
A lot of gamers I have met are really nice

Gamerism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social equality for gamers.
The underlying philosophy of gamerism narrates the harsh realities of living in a society that oppresses and subjugates gamers. The gamerism campaigns focus on eleminating the same. Often times it becomes necessary for people to hide the fact that they are gamers. Some of the campaigns focus on making the society more acceptable and tolerant towards gamers.
Some schools of gamerism include the narrative of the misguided society. They describe how the society enforces roles for the people living in it and views individuals in these rigid roles. It is the aim of the gamerism campaigns to show that one doesn't have to be a certain type of person to be a gamer. All people can be gamers and all gamers can have multiple roles in role playing games.
It's interpretation of historical development takes a view of social transformation. It originates from the works of the 21st century philosopher PewDiePie who is often dubbed as the father of gamerism.
There are many different schools of thought under the gamerist ideology. Each of these facets are trying to achieve a different objective. Some ridicule the philosophy of gamerism to be synonymous with a utopia. However it is the commonly held belief of all gamerists that it is not an impossible dream.
Man1: How do you identify yourself politically?
Man2: I am a supporter of gamerism. That makes me a gamerist.

An all-inclusive term to describe the maligned, often-misunderstood group of people that regularly engage in video, computer, or tabletop games.
Though the percentage of people who participate in such activities has increased in recent years, a certain stigma still surrounds those elite few who can call themselves "true gamers". These are the people you see getting together for a rousing session of Dungeons & Dragons once a week, or who you will regularly see planted in front of a TV or computer monitor, immersed in the bliss of gamedom.
This is not to say gamers are the bespectacled hermits that the stereotype has long been. We are everywhere, in many shapes and forms. We live and breathe the likes of Halo, Warcraft, Unreal Tournament, Mage: The Ascension, and more. And the gamer is here to stay.
I like Halo 2, but that Paul is a real gamer. He skipped class and beat it in two days!
Participants in the tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons inherently deserve the title of "gamer".
