the greatest city in the world.
home to the best of all cultures, unfortunatly chavs seem to have emerged aswell.
the north london is a great and glorious land of golden streets etc. while the south should home to many many people but is hardly on the tube map, theres a reason.
The most egotistical city there is, theres a better reason.

A city in the South of England, often refered to by myself as SKANKLAND.
The reason being...
1. it is full of skanks
2. it is full of perverts
3. it is full of dirty filthy cockney londoners who think they can have just about anyone they want, who have had everyone they want
4. although... yes it has some beatiful attractions... the people there well... are usually beatiful on the outside but disturbed on the inside
5. it is dangerous to be there
6. it is dangerous to speak to people there
7. you should beware of sex attacks and stabbings and such whenever you go there

I'm american and I know that London is the capital of England not vice versa. Most of us aren't idiots that's just a ignorant stereotype. But anyway London is basically the Manhattan of England. Extremely expensive, good eating, good shopping, history, etc. Basically it is a must see city.
Us "Yanks" aren't stupid or ignorant as the media makes us look. Give us a chance. Yes 97% of us know, London is the capital of England. If I asked a Englishmen what the capital of the state of Louisiana was, would he know? Maybe, maybe not the point is we both don't know a lot about each other's culture.

cool place xpensive tho so if u not on at least 16000 u cnt get a lot big cities loads of different cultures,lots of gang mainly all part of yob culture nice place 2 live in some areas but bad in ovas e.g peckham,brixton,northolt,bow

the coolest girl ever, she is an awesome friend and knows how to have fun. If you ever come across a London you better become friends with her. Be warned if you make a London mad she can kick your ass.

London is the capital city of the UK, and also the largest. Its VERY multicualtural and one of the great cities of the world, on a par with New York, Paris, Tokyo. Its a city of contrast, its a wealthy place of royalty, upperclass and celebrity, a tourist haven and a place of great culture. And at the same time, its a bleak, impoverished, violent, crime ridden hell hole, where street gangs make peoples lives a misery, people are shot and stabbed just for looking at someone the wrong way, disilusioned teens steal your cars and then torch them on wasteland and drug addicted single mothers stuggle paying to feed their drug addicted kids.
London is a great place to live, if you have money. If your poor, then living in London can be a brutal and nightmarish experience.
London, its good, really good in places, but in some of its bad, but at least its not as bad as Manchester (my current residence).
