Activist Annies

Cause-worshiping nut cases in colleges who become activists. They protest whatever they can because they need a cause. Feeling superior to everyone else because they're "fighting for something" is why they wake up in the morning.

SJWs are a prime example of this. They feel they are fighting racism to the point that they turn into racists themselves.

They fight for leftist conspiracy theories such as autism-causes-vaccines nonsense, or against GMO, against nuclear energy, against "social injustice", against "racism", against Wall-Street, or against animal testing...

Or they fight for right-wing conspiracy theories such as neo-nazism, fighting against the "establishment", against the illuminati or against FEMA, against even legal immigrants, or against the government because of that one tax bill that pissed them off.

e.g. "oh look more obsessed mentally-disturbed Activist Annies that's protesting some nonsense that no one gives a damn about."

animal rights activist

Bored suburban white kid with waaay too much time on his/her hands.

Found in decadent wealthy societies where most people have more food than they need and anthropomorphize their overfed pets.

Irrelevant in developing nations or to people who have real life problems to worry about.

The animal rights activist screamed and ranted in front of Macy's while brandishing photoshopped pictures of roadkill. "See this poor little innocent animal that died for your sins in this evil leg-breaking trap!!" The homeless family across the street was unimpressed.

house warming activist

A person that eagerly tries to get the ball rolling on your house warming party. House warming activists are very tenacious and often ask you 'when is your house warming party?' every day.

Duder 1: "Dude you moved in like 2 days ago! He's already asking you about that?"

Duder 2: "Yea dude I see him every day at lunch and the first thing he says is 'When's your house warming?'."

Duder 1: "Damn son! You got yourself a house warming activist right there."

Activist Public Official

Activist Public Official

A public official on the State or Federal level that put's his/her personal, philosophical, or religious values over the Constitutional Rights of others by denying the public services based on those specific views.

An Activist Public Official ignores the rule of law determined by the Judaical system in the country and state/province they work in and their oath as public official to deny State/Federal rights given to the citizens the public official is sworn to serve.

I didn't expect that county clerk to behave like an Activist Public Official when she tried to deny us state recognition of our same sex marriage Paul said to Bob.

animal rights activist

A person, who ignores malnutrition on the rest of the planet, and tries to force his/her own view on others. Often seen protesting medical advances, clothes or food that involved animals in the process. Would rather "convert" people to his/her own beliefs than accomplish something productive in life. Often resort to drastic action for attention, because their "cause" is not important enough for normal people.

An animal rights activist may be from the groups of

People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals

or

Animal Liberation Front

animal rights activist

Hypocritical asshole who thinks that he/she can stop the killings of "poor, innocent animals" by harming humans and being a bitch until they get their way. In other words, someone with smaller intellegence.

Because she was an animal rights activist, Emma became known to everyone as "The world's bitch".

animal rights activist

A BBC website put it best:

The press often confuses animal activists with animal extremists.

Animal activists live their lives in an animal-friendly way and use only conventional means to promote the animal cause. These include:

Diet

Not eating animal products

Shopping

Avoiding products tested on animals
Avoiding products made with leather or fur

Living in an animal friendly way

Avoiding pesticides
Avoiding products that harm the environment

Education

Learning about animal issues
Teaching others about animal issues

Entertainment

Avoiding zoos and circuses

Investment

Investing only in companies with animal-friendly policies

Politics

Lobbying for pro-animal legislation
Campaigning about animal issues
Telling other people about animal issues
Writing books and articles about animal issues

The animal rights activist doesn't just talk about the issue, he/she does something about it.
