8th Floor of Ellicott Hall

A figure of speech generally used by residents of Ellicott Hall at the University of Maryland, or those that have previously lived in Ellicott Hall. While a statement, in the literal sense, declaring the intent of the user to, in effect, yeet (see: "Yeet") themselves off of the top floor of Ellicott Hall, it is used more commonly as a metaphor, generally when the user wishes to express to their friends that they are quite over the amount of bullshit that is the order of obtaining an engineering degree or that they are simply overwhelmed with work and feel close to death. Typically used most frequently around Finals time.

Bro, I have so much work to do. I guess it's time to go to the 8th Floor of Ellicott Hall

Floor-Twenty

Any day when one luckily finds a $20 dollar bill in a public location before any other indvidual can get his/her greasy fingers on said bill. A floor-twenty discovery is followed by rushing out of the public location, cackling like a mental patient just off thorazine.

I had to cough up $13 for my herp' prescription, but then I saw a floor-twenty and scooped it up post haste.

Back door to top floor

This is a sex move where a guy is giving anal, stops, and his partner gives a blow.

That girl was freaky. We went from back door to top floor.

Floor Monkey

Anyone who works at the front lines of an organization. At a bank, it would be the tellers. At a service organization it would be those who deal directly with clients or customers. Floor monkeys can of course be well paid if they are, for example, at a large multinational corporation where they make sure computer servers are up and running properly, make sure a company's invoices are paid on time or provide information, reports or expert knowledge to business-to-business clients. Essentially, they are at the bottom of the organizational pyramid and rarely if ever have direct reports.

John and I are both floor monkeys at work. If were weren't there to keep things running management would be screwed. I don't think they even know what we do.

My boss always has his head in the clouds, if it weren't for us floor monkeys this company would grind to a halt and all of the "organizational goals" would be irrelevant
