covid relief

An oxymoron where by a person is promised support or relief, but in fact, they receive nothing. Covid relief is typically promised to those who are in dire need of support. The person promising covid relief never has intentions of giving relief. And, thus, the person expecting it can be strung along continously by mearly saying, "Just wait! Its coming!" The person waiting, being desperate, will cling to hope knowing no one could be so cruel as to continually promise covid relief.

Covid relief is a tactic used by politicians as a way to drive out competition. They will promise covid relief, allow a small business to fail, then replace the small business with one they have a vested interest.

Congressman Dorney Clark promised covid relief to a local restaurant while investing in a competitive restaurant chain located next door.

He thinks covid was not a big deal

This is more implicit false dichotomy framing.

Mas Sirrah "He thinks covid was not a big deal"

Hym "This ☝️ is a trap. He's trying to frame it as though it either WAS or WAS NOT 'a big deal' (which is this amorphous and subjective phrase). How 'big of a deal' it was would exist on a gradient and the REAL question is 'Was it a big enough deal to shut down the country and destroy the economy for years to come and does it mean that we should set a precedent where people are expected to cede authority over their bodily autonomy to the state?'and the ANSWER is no. All of the data suggested that the answer was 'No' BEFORE we shut the country down and AFTER we opened everything back up it was revealed that IT WASN'T a good idea to do that. The conservative media reported this in real time and they were CORRECT. Also, if the vaccine works, the people who take it are fine and the people who don't SHOULD BE adequate informed of the risks and have made their own decision."

Mas Sirrah "This is why people shouldn't listen to you!"

Hym "You're not the savior, Sam-Er, Mas! I know mommy told you that Jewish women are little Jesus factories but nobody needs you to save them and they die either way. You're being told to go fuck yourself, Jew. No I will not take a vaccine if I don't fucking feel like it. If you force me, I will manually kill the people I WOULD HAVE killed by not taking the vaccine. Get the fuck right out of here."

Covid Birds

When people from blue states move to Florida or Texas to escape lockdowns, thus driving living expenses to record high knowing they will move back once covid is over.

I'm tired of the lockdowns in New York and California so I'll move to the south to get away from it. Let's be Covid birds!

Covid Charlie

A person who lacks any awareness of germs whatsoever. They go to work sick, wipe their nose on the back of their hand, blow their nose on their clothing, just run there hands under cool water (instead of using soap) after using the toilet, and have never washed their Covid mask.

Look at that Covid Charlie grabs his face mask, from under his pile of McDonald’s bags on the floor of his car, to go into the grocery store.

Covid Charlie showed up to work today sick. Says it’s just allergies.

Covid leper

When no one will hang out with you after you have had covid.

I wanted to go hang with them but they are treating me like a covid leper. So, I will stay home, again, despite quarantining for the recommended amount of time.
