When a guy is too good looking and intimidates any surrounding social group. The guy is considered to be so good looking (like the actor George Clooney) that he has a hard time getting woman to trust him because they think he's a player. Also the men around him get jealous and try to push you out of the social group with drama so they have a better chance with the women in the group.
Girl: "Hey, I don't get a good vibe from him, he's very handsome and I think he's a player"
Girl2: "Yea, he suffers from the Clooney Effect, give him a chance though... don't judge too quickly."

A state of mind in which content from a relatively short time of origin in the real world, causes the afflicted to believe that the event occurred long before the origin.
This affliction is due to the fact that daily Reddit users are accustomed to constant and updated information. Therefore, if an event occurred a few days ago, it causes the Reddit user to feel that the event happened much longer ago.
This causes the Reddit user to feel that events and or stories occurred in a longer period of time than in reality. Some severe cases can cause a frequent Reddit user to be violent verbally or physically. The best solution is to end the topic or to leave the afflicted alone. There is no cure to this phenomenon although modern medicine is working towards a cure.
A: Hey did you see that post of "x"?
B: Yeah I saw that like two weeks ago.
A: Two weeks ago? Man that feels like forever ago. That is still a relevant topic?
B: Yes. This is the curse of Reddit. The Reddit Effect.

The Kickstand Effect often happens in the middle of the night. When still groggy from just waking up, males will often turn over to their other side. Not realizing they have morning wood from just waking up, their penis will get in the way and bend, causing extreme discomfort.

The phenomenon that occurs when you suddenly perceive your previously mediocre looking boy/girlfriend as extremely attractive simply because other people are hitting on them. This phenomenon often occurs in nightclubs or discotheques.
Stacey looked alright last night at Marquee. But the nightclub effect changed my perception of her. I found myself having to deflect guy after guy who came up to flirt with her!

When a social event is photographed entirely with a nikon camera (more specifically, the ubercool Nikon D40), the tendency for the photos to look like the party was super fun, although it was really quite boring.
Nikon Effect is prevalent at parties dominated by vain nikonite girls.
The Nikon Effect doubles or even triples when the photos are posted on facebook or myspace for all who weren't invited to view and envy.
Girl 1: Did you see the pictures from Allie's kickback? It looked so chill! I wish I had gone...
Girl 2: Don't worry about it. I asked Clare how it was and she said it was actually really awkward. You were just seeing the Nikon Effect in the pics.
