Angel Island

A place known in Leeds, but also goes for any area that had the same circumstances.
Usually a certain area, maybe an estate, but not usually a street which contains the majority of old people. Another common factor, and most certainly of the one in Leeds, is the area is full of bungalows, also associated with older people. The name comes from 'angel' as in meaning 'dead', and 'island' as in meaning the 'area'.

Mickey: Where does your granny live?
Minnie: Down Angel Island, how about yours?
Mickey: Down Angel Island too. They're having a pensioners bash this weekend at the church hall.

Merritt Island

It's a LIT place. Old people live here with the exception of some teenagers and their fam. Only a few good places to hang. Overall nice place. Plus it sounds cool to say you live on an island.

Island Runaway

When you're having sex with a woman you just met on the beach. You come inside her then throw sand in her eyes so she can't identify. Then you run away.

Long Island

Depending on where you live it's 20 minutes - 1 hour from NYC, it has awesome beaches with sexy mammas, great place to visit, yes, we are NEW YORKERS, some of the inhabitants sound like they are from Brooklyn, some do not. People from long island don't all pronounce Long Island with a strange accent. We love real food, we love fashion. Some celebrities live on long island and some have moved since then. Overall a great place to live.

Falkland Islands

A name given by the imperialist english to Las Islas Malvinas.
Located off the coast of Argentina, the Malvinas were named the Falkland Islands after the english invaded them for no reason other than to continue their imperialism.

Let's name the Malvinas, The Falkland Islands, so there is eternal proof of our imperialist intentions.
