A funny comedy show that Fox decided to air more seasons after it gained popularity on Adult Swim in a sad attempt of getting intelligent viewers back to their network.
Tom: Did you see Family Guy on Fox last night?
Diane: No, Fox sucks, I watched the reruns on AS though.
Tom: Same with me. I can't wait for AS to get the new episodes.

A once cancelled t.v. show that has just been re-aired on Fox. Family Guy is a comedy revolving the Griffins family. Peter is the main character who acts dumb, Lois is the mother/wife of the house who often tries to reason sitituations, Brian is the talking dog who acts like an adult, Chris is the fat son who acts just as dumb as his father, Meg is the daughter who is self conscious about herself, and Stewie is the smart talking baby who hates his mother and plans to conquer the world.
Lois: Did you paste your picture over our wedding portrait?
Peter: Yeah, I think it looks better.
Lois: You pasted it over mine.
Peter: Yeah, I think it looks better.

A cartoon show superior to The Simpsons.
Ofently misunderstood by ignorant people who have not the intelligence to get the jokes and dismiss them as "random pop culture references" because they just parrot that South Park episode.
Ignorant person: "Hey, in that Family Guy episode, the thing with 'Round Table' with Al Michaels, Harold Ramis, Ray Romano and Kermit the Frog was completely random! That sucks!"
Family Guy fan: "The joke was that all their voices sounded the same, you uneducated twat!"

1. A very funny show on Fox, and sindicated on TBS and Adult Swim
2. But not as funny and/or smart as South Park
3. Retards who say Seth McFarlane is a genius: Seth Doesn't write the scripts he just does the voices and created the characters.
1. 90% of the time funny, 10% of the time not funny and predictable
2. Real geniuses: Trey Parker and Matt Stone. SP won mad emmy's
3. If you dont believe me get the Family Guy season 4 DVD and watch the special Features Seth even says so Himself. Fucktards.

An animated comedy show which, although would not have existed without the heavy influence of The Simpsons, has now arguably stolen the mantle of funniest and most popular cartoon in recent years. It's more adult themes and randomn non-sequiteurs seems to have caught the imagination of a younger, more sophisticated Simpsons-weary generation. Less obtuse and sweary than South Park, which also appears to have had it's day.

Greatest show ever.
They were cancelled by FOX because of the episode where Peter "needs a Jew". The Jewish community got pissed and filed a lawsuit or something. Then the DVD sales were SOO fantastic, they were like screw you. We want money. So the show started up again.
