code freeze takes place when developers are about to release new e.g. beta version of software to the public so it can be further tested.
Usually all the bugs that wasn't fixed in current release will be fixed in the next one.

Mozilla announced a code freeze for a beta version of Firefox 3.0.

freezing Jesus

To make a (video) chat lag and/or freeze by spamming the comments. Usually due to a large amount of lurking people suddenly reacting to someone appearing on the webcam after hours of staring at a table/notebook/etc.

Coming from Ryland Blackinton's (Cobra Starship) "Who froze Jesus?" reaction to someone's "Jesus it's frozen" comment upon the sudden lag in the video.

Seattle Freeze

A phrase that describes a local public consensus that states the city of Seattle and/ or its outlying suburbs are generally not friendly, asexual, introverted, socially aloof, clickish or strictly divided through its social classes, thus making the city/ area difficult to make social connections on all levels.

I was transplanted here six months ago from Los Angeles, and because of this Seattle Freeze I have not had a lot of success at making new friends.

Because I'm a loser and have no social skills, I'll blame my shortcomings on the Seattle Freeze so I can have something other than me to blame.

I "love" the way the new pop down ads page freeze-up my browser, grrr.
