Bot Crisis

The Bot Crisis is an online game being flooded by bots and cheaters. There are multiple kinds of bots you can encounter. Most notably, Team Fortress 2 is in a Bot Crisis. The Bot Crisis will cause many problems for the community. Their main goals are to kill off the games they are targeting. This will include the games' communities. They use aimbot, triggerbot, spinbot, micspam, etc. Normally, these bots are always aware of their surroundings and are very hard to kill off. There are MYGOT bots, LMAObox bots, Catbots, Spycrab bots, and many many more. There are barely any friendly bots that can be encountered, such as Spycrab bots. TL;DR, the Bot Crisis is a major problem that floods an online game with bots and cheaters.

Person: "Hey dude, what's a Bot Crisis?"
Person: "Well normally, it would be considered as a major problem in an online game and it would be flooded by bots and cheaters."
Person: "Oof... No wonder why Team Fortress 2 is not being updated anymore..."

yidlife crisis

The Jewish struggle of identity that we battle between each other and within ourselves. It's a struggle as old as that between God and Jonah, Abraham and Moses, Hillel and Shammai, Jiggin and Schumacher, and now Elman and Batalion.

My mother and I had a YidLife Crisis when she saw me eat a Lifesaver while fasting on Yom Kippur. My argument was that it was medical because my breath smelled like gedempte. Besides, I didn't enjoy it because it came from the bottom of my pocketbook and was covered in schmutz. It was grey!

Manufactured Crisis

There are a lot of "manufactured" phenomena that are disingenuous, shameful, and harmful to the evolution of the human species. Besides the all-to-common manufactured drama, there is the "manufactured crisis" that, in one common instance, upper management uses when they feel guilty for earning so much money for doing relatively nothing. They create a crisis to feel self-important and to re-assert their position in the pecking order of the organization.

Manufactured crisis can also involve skewing research and statistics, falsification of reports, outright lying, and the presentation of various unfounded data to to things like: sway public opinion, create drama in a small uneventful human lives, get a person stigmatized and/or fired from their job, acquire funding and administrative support for pet projects, and a affect a myriad of hypocritical and radically dishonest outcomes.

Being blissfully unaware, willfully obtuse, and ultimately subjugated by those employing this tactic is often embraced by those wanting to advance their own agenda and/or enforce their own preconceptions. This is a larger social phenomenon used to define (again) manufactured, superficial, and subjective dualities of "good and evil", "us and them", "right and wrong", et. al. It is common throughout the history of civilization and has been key to the human atrocities that stem from not only an innate human arrogance and elitism, but the coupling of (2) very disparate and volatile human elements: insecurity and competitive drive.

This phenomena's efficacy in "rallying troops" has helped it to become a common propaganda model used in right and left wing media, politics, and corporations which are often one-in-the-same in today's oligarchical society.

"My dickhead boss fired me after years of hyper-scrutiny and manufactured crisis because I was deemed a threat to the department's soul-less administrative way of life where all they wanted was to graze (like cows) their way to retirement".

crisis management

Management by crisis is a phrase used to describe the common problem of allowing unexpected events, interruptions, problems, or emergencies to dictate your priorities and actions.

Successfully diffusing a crisis requires an understanding of how to handle a crisis โ€“ before it occurs.

To eliminate the worst practice of management by crisis you need to take two important steps. First, you must distinguish between a real crisis, which is something important that requires your immediate attention, and other lesser problems, events, or interruptions that do not qualify as a true crisis. Hence the word Crisis Management.
