Technology that is counter intuitive to common sense. It is so counter intuitive that it surpasses the normal realm of ignorance and claims the right to use the misspelled word "Ignant".
This is somewhat similar to nigga technology, but is used by the general public.
MySpace, Twitter and Facebook allow people to willingly let others violate their privacy despite their ideal that privacy is king. Thus it is "Ignant Technology"
Smart phones are not phones but simply PDA's repackaged with a more powerful operating system and processor. The phone portion is not the main focus but more of a side benefit thrown in for better marketability. In this sense smart phones are "Ignant Technology" that can incorporate more "Ignant Technology" in the form of certain downloadable applications.

usually refers to such things as: flat screen TVs, game systems, computers, audio components, and so on

When individuals post videos of unboxing their new gadgets, usually laptops or other computers. It is done with utmost slowness to really see the gadget and all that comes with it.
I just watched someone unbox their new MacBook on YouTube...such technology porn.

A college of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities which is the only university branch worth attending. Contrasted with the Carlson School of Management and the College of Liberal Arts, the Institute of Technology (IT) is populated by people who don't deserve to be kicked in the balls (Carlson students do; CLA students have none to be kicked). Most IT students could kick your ass in any academic endeavor, and they'd be willing to prove it, because they're nerds.
Carlson student: "I see by your intact testicles that you attend the Institute of Technology!"
IT student: "Why thank you, Carlson student! Now stand still with your feet four feet apart."
