A rather complex chemical reaction in an individuals brain when they make contact with an individual who is attractive to them physically or mentally. Love may lead you to overcome the deep lies hidden in an individual, but not for long. Slowly, but surely it will fade away, no matter if you and the person you're in love with share a bond or you end up with a hole in your heart.
Love is actually nothing more than your brain wanting to mate with a specific individual, though love's effect is very strong to say the least:
It will cause IMMENSE pain if you love someone and they don't share the same feelings. This can lead to sadness, depression and even suicidal thoughts
You can ether go ahead and ignore these feelings and take the pain, or blindly follow your primitive feelings and tell yourself "I'll always love (insert name here) and nothing can change that!"
But before you see it coming...
"Fuck man why did she have to cheat on me. Fuck love"
"I'll break up with her next week"
"We will be divorsed next saturday. Man I feel fucking depressed"
"I don't even think she likes me, she just likes me for my money"
Shed tears or make them shed tears.
THATS WHAT LOVE'S ABOUT
That spark you felt when you made eye contact. The butterflies you get when they replies to your text. That fuzzy feeling witnessing their smile. Thats not love. That's more like a Like, or a crush.
Love is smthg different. A crush is exciting but love is reassuring. Love is comfort of knowing someone being there for you, always. Love might not be as interesting as a crush but its beautiful.
Love is like how a parent wishes you a birthday. Love is like how a brother drove their siblings to spend some quality time. Love is like a parent adjusting the room temperature in case you're cold at night.
Love is care.
Love is complicated, it cannot be forced and comes naturally.
Love can be felt when you lost smthg. To see who you loves. Imagine them being gone, and how they affect you, how painful it gets. Thats how you see how much you love someone. How much that someone meant to you.
The definition of love is simply unwordable. It's something that will tear you down in the end. You will fall in love with someone when you think you trust them even though deep down you rewlly don't but you don't want to face that realization because you missed feeling something for so long that you trick yourself into thinking that this person in front of you could be the answer to all of your problems. Along with the tricking your self into thinking you trust them, you'll also learn to trick yourself to ignore all the things are don't like about that person. No matter how many there are or how little. If they cheat you'll go back because you learned to ignore all the things that flaw them. Love is just a trick of the mind that's better left in fairy tales and in the wands of witches, and in the fingers of faries.
Love is all a trick in your mind because You missed feeling something.

The definition of what Leo feels for Charlotte.
"I love you Charlotte."
"Aww I love you too."
Love is accepting someone else's pain and treating it as your own. Not because you feel as if you have to but because you want too.
" I don't like you I love you and those are two different things."
love is something that you generally don't even know that someone is giving to you something that not many realize is there.
many associate love with when they see a person and they think that they love them, love at first sight is bullshit, when you think you love a person that's not true it is that you want that person, not love.
love is when you do something selfless, that brings pleasure and happiness to the heart and others.
you don't have to repay love and you don't have to be repaid when you do something loving for someone else many would consider my thoughts on what love is to be a simple act of kindness, a person doesn't have to know that you are giving them love for you to e doing it.
the girl ran into the freezing ocean to save the little puppy.
to be defined it is really a simple act of kindness but, that is really just love
