learned the clarinet at school

Slang for 'able to give a fucking fantastic blowjob'.

"Let's just say she learned the clarinet at school," John replied, as his mates crowed loudly and patted him on the back.

Bass Clarinet

"This bass instrument of the Clarinet family is usually played by people who suck on regular Clarinet and therefore also naturally suck on Bass Clarinet. No one can ever hear them so who cares if they play? Usually mess up the simplest of things such as whole notes especially when they are exposed. Along with the Alto Clarinet it is often used by good clarinet players to get into District, State, and other Various Honor Bands. Some are whiney and complain that they can't march but it dosen't matter becasue they don't know how to play anyways. Rarley a Bari Sax player will have to doubble on Bass Clarinet for Jazz band."

"Hey! The concert was great even though the onlything I could hear from the Bass Clarinets were their Squeakes."

bass clarinet player

Usually a player of the bass clarinet which is just like a regular clarinet but lower. Might be friends with the alto saxophone player and may cause unneeded drama in band.

B Flat Clarinet

A b flat clarinet is the main kind of clarinet. It is in the key of B flat, that is why it is called a B flat clarinet. It has 22-28 keys and the embouchure or way you blow into the instrument, is very difficult to learn. Clarinet is very fun, and there is a Bass Clarinet, which is a regular clarinet, but it plays on a different key, not B flat.

I am in band and i am learning the B flat clarinet.

E-Flat Clarinet

The E-flat clarinet is a member of the clarinet family, smaller than the more common Bโ™ญ clarinet and pitched a perfect fourth higher. It is typically considered the sopranino or piccolo member of the clarinet family and is a transposing instrument in Eโ™ญ with a sounding pitch a minor third higher than written.

The Eโ™ญ clarinet is used in orchestras, concert bands, and marching bands, and plays a central role in clarinet choirs, carrying melodies that would be uncomfortably high for the Bโ™ญ clarinet. Solo repertoire is limited, but composers from Berlioz to Mahler have used it extensively as a solo instrument in orchestral contexts.

It is important that the E-Flat clarinetist play in tune, otherwise they canmake an otherwise beautiful sounding band sound bad.

Guy 1: Jesus, this band sounds terrible.
Guy 2: Well, it has an E-Flat Clarinet player.
Guy 1: Well, that explains it.
