The word "podcast" was invented by famous writer and singer James Wayne. He came up with the word when he was smoking weed - also referred to as "pot". It is a combination of the word "pot" and "broadcast", but James decided it looks better as "podcast" with a "d" instead of a "t".
James: "Hey, E. Let's make a podcast?"
E: "A what?"
James: "Exactly."
a podcast is a group white men in their mid to late 20's
"hey, do you see Mark over there with his friends?"
"is he over there in that podcast?"
"what's a podcast?"
"it's a group of mid 20's white men, like Mark and his buddies"
