Sexual act.

When you're having sex and you're about to achieve a climax, you reach for your cowboy hat with one hand and put it on then with the other hand you pull off your belt and wrap it around her throat and hold it like the reigns of a horse.
As you climax you pull the reigns back and hold onto your hat with your right hand and yell 'WHOA NELLY!' at the top of your lungs.

Abrupt interruption of friend(s) conversation to signify hot chick in the vicinity. It is typically used in unison with a slight head nod in the direction of said hottie. The interruption is KEY; regardless of how important the conversation is, all parties, male or female, must be inconvenienced enough to look before resuming conversation.

Extra "whoas" may be added for effect, up to five is customary and acceptable.

Whoa Way

A mixture of the word, "Whoa" and the phrase, "No way!" This interjection is occasionally used seriously, but most often used sarcastically and to mock someone at something they think is important or when that someone just realizes something obvious.

When someone just realizes something obvious and/or thinks it's important:
"Holy Cow! Water's wet!"
"Whoa way, I thought it was dry!"

When used seriously:
"I just rode that roller coaster over there that tops 120 miles an hour five times in a row!"
"Whoa way! How did you manage not to throw up?"
