Doing a Gibby

Doing a Gibby

This refers to the process where an individual fails to take things as far as they possibly could. This may be for several reasons including: a fear of the unknown; a lack of willingness to commit and/or a shear lack of golf balls. Repeatedly doing a Gibby can often lead to ridicule from friends and those closest to you but they do this purely for your benefit and with no ulterior motive.

Can also be used to describe doing random or slightly camp actions , such as giving oddballs lifts, drinking appletiser and lsitening to alphabeat.

Colloquial expression used predominantly in the West Coast of Scotland, in particular North Ayrshire where this form of action is often prevaelent.

"He could have had her."
"Yup, he's doing a Gibby."

doing a Stafford

To defecate in a toilet not owned by oneself.

- I had a lot of bran this morning, I'm pretty desperate, thinking of doing a Stafford.
- Dude that's disgusting, put a cork in your ass and go in your own toilet.

Doing it Live

Deciding how you're going to get home from the bars at the end of the night, instead of designating a driver or finding a place to crash.

"So I don't remember whose turn it is to drive tonight, I guess we'll just do it live."
"Look, man, we can just-"
"-WE'RE DOING IT LIVE!!"

Not To-Do List

A list of all the activities you are intentionally going to stop doing, because you are taken for granted by your boss, colleagues, spouse, friends, lover, assorted relatives, and even your pet, who constantly abuse of your kindness, commitment, and productivity, forcing you to carry their work and fulfill their responsibilities.

End of line!!! I wonΒ΄t take the abuse from all the slackers and suckers around me anymore. From today on I am going to stop doing what is on my "Not To-Do List".
