Frog

In knitting and crochet, a verb meaning to rip out stitches (most often when correcting a mistake, though sometimes to reclaim yarn from an unwanted project). A play on words comparing "rip it" to the onomatopoeia of the sound frogs make, "ribbit."

Ugh, I just realized I dropped a stitch 3 rows ago and I have to frog now.

Frog

The frog is an amphibian in the order Anura (meaning "tail-less", from Greek an-, without + oura, tail), formerly referred to as Salientia (Latin saltare, to jump). The name frog derives from Old English frogga, (compare Old Norse frauki, German Frosch, older Dutch spelling kikvorsch), cognate with Sanskrit plava (frog), probably deriving from Proto-Indo-European praw = "to jump".

Look at that frog in this gif, he is eating a fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
