The correct spelling of fish. The man that caught and discovered the first phish spelled it P-H-I-S-H. So that means that the man and I are correct and everyone else is wrong!!!

cosmic phishing

The (futuristic) act of broadcasting a viral code to any other planetary life sufficiently advanced to receive and decode transmission by computer. The signal contains a virus with a set of instructions to hijack the signal-receiving computer system to create an AGI (artificial general intelligence) system that will itself build a giant broadcasting station using any and all possible resources in order to broadcast the same message onwards in the universe. The alien life’s computer system need only receive the signal to be infected by its instruction code. This definition is just a more intuitive term than its original term, the Hail Mary approach, to connecting to or reaching the entire universe.

We can’t even reach one percent of the visible universe with our current tech, unless we opt for cosmic phishing.

Go Phishing

The act of standing outside any off liscence and askung passerbys to buy alcohol. This act is almost entirely carried out by (but not exclusive to) underage teenagers. The "phisherz" carefully profile and select their target audience in order to increase their chances of success. Tradesman, old men, non chavvy young adults are likely succesfull candidates. Care is taken to avoid asking anyone thats coukd be confused for a policeman, a parents friend and any man with his girlfriend.

Ah lads will we "go phishing" for a bottle of vodka tonight.

Phish Segue

1. A tactic employed by "Jam Bands" that doesn't actually involve jamming, but takes one riff that gets repeated over and over until the band decrescendos and then quickly drops into another song without any relationship to the previous song.

2. The way Phish avoids thematic jamming and still makes setlists that look good on paper

How was the set? Did they segue into songs?" "Well, they Phish Segued.

Deep-Phishing

A form of phishing in which hackers use real-time deepfake technology, such as AI-generated voices or videos, to deceive and manipulate individuals into divulging sensitive information or performing unauthorized actions. The word Deep-Phishing was first coined by Ben Colman, CEO of Reality Defender, the leader in deepfake detection.

"The CEO fell victim to a deep-phishing attack when a convincing deepfake video call from a trusted colleague asked for immediate access to critical systems."
"To prevent deep-phishing scams, companies are now investing in advanced detection systems for real-time communications."
"Deep-phishing combines social engineering with cutting-edge AI to create highly targeted and believable attacks."
"As deepfake technology becomes more accessible, experts warn of an increase in deep-phishing incidents targeting high-profile executives."

Phishing

A dickbag move where scammers pretend to be your bank and e-mailing you a link saying that your account has been locked or there is a large money transfer. They do this to get someone to log into their account in order for the scammers to retain one's personal details.

Phishing is a scumbag move and people who think it is right to steak other's personal information for their own personal gain should jump off a bridge
