A type of improvised grenade-like bomb used mainly in the first world war. Soldiers would use the empty tins from their ration of jam and fill it with explosives and shrapnel. Improvised jam tins often resemble the 'Double Cylinder Bomb' that was in use at the same time.
"I managed to kill two guys in trenches today using a couple of jam tins"

The name for the automated female voice associated with large, corporate IVR (interactive voice response) or voice mail systems usually resulting in wasted time and total frustration.
I called their customer service number to complain, but I couldn't get past the tin bitch.

innacurately describe as a "tin pipe" (should be aluminum pipe) because cans used to be made out of tin. It is one of the cheapest pipes used by pot smokers. the method involves flattening one side of a pop can and puncturing small holes in it. The pot is then laid on the flat side of the can and lit while the smoker inhales through the mouth hole of the can. The method is not very effective, but is readily available and easily disposable in an emergency.

A pipe created from aluminum foil used to smoke various substances. "Tin" derives from the commonly used "Tin Foil" to refer to what is actually aluminum foil.
A Tin-Toker is produced by rolling aluminum foil around a pencil (or similarly shaped object) while forming one end with one's fingers to create a "bowl" in which to place the substance to be smoked. Sometimes the creator will additionally place a second, smaller piece of aluminum foil over the "bowl" of the pipe and depress the middle. Then small holes are poked to allow smoke to flow but prevent large pieces of material and ash to filter through.
Some believe it is harmful to smoke with a Tin Toker because the heating frees aluminum ions which are subsequently inhaled. This is as yet unconfirmed.
