Man, Slim was the dopest rapper alive but changed his style to make more money. Definitely was not worth it, i was afraid of this for a long time. It hurts me to say it but what a sell-out.

mostly small bands or skateboarders that sell theirselves to places like cough mtv just for fame or the money. they go from being low key to big name.
Greenday, Fall Out Boy, Bam Margera, are examples of a sell-out.

A sellout is someone who has discarded his or her original principles, in turn for Money and Fame, most sellouts only care about themselves.
Like when Lebron James left Cleveland for Miami, he became a Sell out.

A band that betrays their original purpose for making music in order to make more money. MTV happens to be the cause of most sell outs, making bands worry about their music videos and wether or not they can get them on MTV. A sell out band has to have 3 things happened.
1.)Complete change in style of music
2.)Aired on MTV every day
3.)ALL ABOUT THE MONEY
What is a sell out band?
Green Day - went from punk rock to political "punk" in order to bring in the big money that their other albums failed to do
What is NOT a sell out?
Good Charlotte- A band that from the begining wanted to make maeninful music and continues to due so, despite the critisim they recieve every day from people who claim good charlotte to be "pop punk posers"
