A "Transitional Living Program" based on bureaucratic rules, arbitrary grades, and false promises. At ICR, there are a few key phrases one must understand in order to be successful here.
See if you can follow this easy-to-read translation of staff's favorite phrases and what they actually mean!
"I've been looking into it"---I have not been looking it.
"I'm working very hard on it"--I thought about working on it, once, but let the thought pass.
"We have had budget cuts"--The founder of the program decided to increase his own salary again, siphoning the money from the program's account (which the students pay for)
"We have to walk to the gym today"--The founder of the program got drunk and passed out in the van somewhere far away, rendering it useless for transporting the group.
"It's not about THEM, it's about YOU!"--I do not know what to tell you, but I read somewhere that telling you this will be helpful.
If a student at ICR, Introspections Costa Rica, says, "The overwhelming amounts of negativity and complaining from the other students are beginning to effect my attitude," (s)he will be told, "It's not about THEM, it's about YOU!"
If a student says, "I've been asking you daily for two weeks to get this issue solved," (s)he will be told, "I'm working on it."
If a student says "You told me two weeks ago you had this figured out," s(he) will be told, "I've been looking into it."

When one uses ones bare fist in a pumping motion to unclog a plugged toilet.
Beth was horrified when the resort maintainance man "Costa Rican fist pumped" the plugged toilet.
The act of two men riding together on a dirt bike or motorcycle and the man riding in the rear gives a hand job to man driving the bike.
I saw Joe and Will riding together on Joes motor cycle and Will was giving Joe a Costa Rican Dirt Bike.
Introspections Costa Rica is a transitional living program located in the heart of San Jose, Costa Rica. The students live in an apartment complex and there is a Mentor on staff at all times. The students go on an out of the counrty trip once every 3 months usually to panama or nicaragua and every 6 weeks they do a long weekend trip. The head of the program is a well known psychologist who is a big advicate of peace and involded in multiple orginizations. The program is designed so that you get what you put into the program and you make it what you want it to be. The program director belevives the students are the protential leaders of the future and that we all can make a difference in the world. The is a growing program thats goal is to make a difference in tomarrows youth. Most of the students at ICR come from wilderness of RTC's prgrams.

Costa Del Your Maw- rather than the usual scottish slang insulting remark of "yer maw" , a modern day cultured version of the phrase is used by inserting "costa del" at the start. Normally the phrase is used by hispanic teenagers in Scottish modern studies classes .
Girl: yo kelly bhoy!

When someone in a third world country pleasures multiple homeless people under a bridge using a penis pump.
Some stupid hoopajoop decided he wanted to be a Costa Rican Hotdog Farmer and has a line of homeless people obstructing traffic for a mile to have his penis pump used on them.
