good idea fairy cut-off date (GIF-COD)

Military term: The absolute, iron-clad, no-bull date/time when any visit by the good idea fairy will not be tolerated by anyone for any reason. For most reasonable people this is not later than the time an operation plan or order is published. For senior officers and politicians this is only a hypothetical moment that never arrives.

"The good idea fairy cut-off date (GIF-COD) for this operation is the date we issue the order to the units," said the Commander. "I will personally kill anyone who suggests anything after that."

and;

"The attack was going well until the good idea fairy struck. They failed to establish a GIF-COD.

GIF vomit

Spewing a long list of GIFs while messaging someone, to demonstrate what you are trying to say but simultaneously avoiding the use of any actual text.

I woke up this morning in a good mood until I saw that my ex left GIF vomit on my phone about why we should get back together.

Five Finger GIF Punch

An elite black belt level social media technique, wherein a GIF that is used to respond to a post, text, etc., is so strongly impactful on every emotional level that it might as well have been a physical strike.

That GIF in your response was such a Five Finger GIF Punch that it made me laugh until I started to cry.

GIF Battle

An activity that involves 2-3 people using gifs to depict a battle on a messaging app like discord.
This is mainly just a roleplay, but you can get creative and write rules for it.

The most basic types of gifs you can use are: Attack gifs (usually of a person shooting a gun or punching) Heal gifs (usually some sort of potion or injection which can heal you if you have taken too many hits) Block gifs (shields, counters, etc. Blocks the opponent's attack.) Flee gifs (most likely a gif of a car driving away for someone running. Avoids the attack and leaves open some space to heal.) AND FINALLY... death gifs (someone in a grave, in a hospital bed, or a casket. Used to tell the opponent that you have died and lost the fight.)

Essentially, you just "fight" until someone decides to die and give the other person the win.

Can't write an example because you can't use gifs in this box. "should include the word being defined" okay urban dictionary. Fine. GIF Battle
