Luck of the Latex

The Luck of the Latex refers to the carrying of a condom not only to practice safe sex, but also because of the superstitious belief that it will increase your chances of having sex.

Guy 1: Man, I haven't been gettn' any action at all lately, any tips?

Guy 2: Pack some rubber son, and rely on the Luck Of The Latex.

good luck

a phrase used to wish someone well in an endeavor

sometimes a pointless phrase if the task at hand does not even remotely involve or require luck.

beginners' luck

(Idiom) when someone new to the field outclasses the veterans, they will scornfully remark this.

<goatseman>That n00b is killing us off!

<veterankiller> beginners' luck, it'll wear off.

my luck is your luck

I love you. If I ever win the lottery or inherit money, you'll get a gift or be asked if you need anything that can be bought with money. If you need help, and I can help you without leaving my polycule injured, I will help you.

My luck is your luck, they say to sister soul. Sister soul says: And mine yours.

good luck

Simple phrase used to catch out British spies or agents when masquerading as the enemy. When wished 'Good luck' in English by a foreign agent they find it literally impossible not to reply with 'Thanks old bean!' or something similar.

Most famously used in The Great Escape.

Hans Nazihausen: Halt! Sprechen sie Englisch?
John Smithson: Nein! Der English sind Schwein-poopen.
Hans: Haha, Ja. Good luck.
John: Thanks old bean!
Hans: AHA!
John: Oh bother.

Luck Box

Used to account for one's surprisingly good fortunes or previously unknown talents. A way to rationalize when something happens that far exceeds the known abilities of someone or something.

I thought going into the fantasy football draft this year that it would be a total crapshoot, but I was able to luck box a crenshaw team that is rock chalk to win the championship.
