1) The very pit bottom of the relationship hierarchy where a girl considering a guy to be a friend would be consider an insult to her well being.
2) A female that befriends a guy and misleads him into thinking that they are friends but her ulterior motive is that she is using him for academics.
Zak: "I think I am in the friends zone with Emily"
Vladmir: "Nah, you are only in the tool zone.."
Zak: "Why do you say that"
Vladmir:" She only comes to you for Calculus problem sets"
Like the friendzone but much worse. When a guy gets rejected then proclaims you're like a brother to her.
Guy: I love you, will you go out with me?
Girl: That's cute, but I don't feel that way towards you, you're like a brother to me.
Guy: Damn it I just got brother zoned!

to be so interested in your own thoughts, your brain stops focusing on the reception from your senses. You only snap out of it when, 1) you realize you zoned out and subsequently "come back into the real world", 2) something happens that catches your attention, like say a major movement in front of your face, or 3) someone says your name.
When the principle came into to talk to us about Jacob running away from school on his longboard, I was so bored by that old hag that I had to zone out in five seconds. I snapped out of it when she stopped talking, and guess what I was thinking about? A sandwich.

The zone even further out then the 'friend zone'. You are the ultimate friend, 'pretty much like my brother!'. This can apply to women as well, that of being in the 'sister zone'. Once you're in one of these zones though, it's best to come to the realization that you only make out of one zone. Brother zone - moves up to friend zone - friend zone sometimes can move past and become that of a dating partner (when lucky).
Matt: Why are you always hanging with Alicia, why don't you ask her out already?
Dan: Can't man. I'm in the brother zone.

An area that is specifically demarcated to prevent flatulent behavior in a small, closed area, usually backed up by an obscene fine to prevent it.
A no fart zone is set up to totally criminalize farting whereas in the past, passing gas was merely considered socially rude!
