Now more often associated with sports car driving habits - but originally it meant top gun type, fighter pilots. Originally it was a reference to how fighter jet afterburners looked like flaming (circular) assholes when they flew past targets and the type of personality that flew those planes. Moving too fast and having too much fun to care about the victims left behind.
Tom Cruise may never have been a real Top Gun pilot but he sure has most of the flaming asshole personality quirks that define such flyers.

A pussy asshole is a walking contradiction that tries to act tough, but is in fact a little bitch that cries on the low low. He puts on a fuckboy facade however, he gets no punani.

A polite asshole is both polite and an asshole at the same time. This will most often be a male, And you'll feel like hating their guts while wanting to still be their friend or partner.
Your friends are the ones most likely to identify him or her as a polite asshole and you may not even have noticed it till they do. It is most-likely his or her attempt at flirting with you as you may not have much common ground or have known each other for long.
A polite asshole will be one of those friends or partners that are as close as they come, they'll be there for you through thick and thin.
"That guys being such a polite asshole to you, I reckon he likes you"

Sporadic, weak or low-investment gestures of interest from a suiter or would-be partnerm that obscures the fact that the suiter or would be partner is not actually invested in the relationship. Often employed to keep the relationship just barely going in a way that does not heavily burden the person delivering the asshole crumbs but keeps his or her options perennially open.
After we had sex the first time she said she is scared that she is falling in love with me, but since then all I've gotten is a text now and then and some other asshole crumbs.
