A good singer and songwriter, an okay guitar player in a great band. Is slightly overrated, as someone said. People keep saying that kurt cobain is their idol, their god, their angel. But I bet they've never even fucking heard one nirvana song. They just want to look cool and alternative and "anti-establishment". Why is everyone caught up in some paranoia induced bullshit conspiracy that kurt cobain was murdered by courtney? He was suicidal, thats a fact, i read his biography. One of the most influential and greatest rock musicians ever. Helped ignite the alternative/grunge era of the 1990s. Developed the soft verse/loud chorus format which every band uses presently. Often thought of as overrated by ignorant fellows. Fame has skyrocketed with his supposed suicide, but still remains a legend in fans' hearts. Incredibly creative mind, nice person at heart, destructive to his own body, simple yet melodic songwriter, very misunderstood. There will never be another one like him.
