path of pride

An alternate name for the walk of shame, wherein an undergrad youth slinks home from the residence of a member of the opposite sex after a night out partying. Especially applicable to males after a first successful venture.

"I don't think the name 'walk of shame' is appropriate for me. Frankly, I'd prefer to call it a path of pride."

Persian Pride

The name of the Persian Mafia.

Originated by Persians (Iranians/Iranian-Americans) in suburban Los Angeles in the '90s. A very popular group.

The symbol of Persian pride is P.P. or PP.

And if you want to make it by hand, you simply make two P's with both hands, and stick them down, and one P is going to be backwards.

Pride Month

A commercialized holiday to celebrate LGBTQ+ themes. Originating out of the Stonewall riots over 40 years ago and popularized nationwide after the Supreme court's ruling on gay marriage in 2015, its now a marketing opportunity for profit hungry corporations and bought into by boring college freshman who are eager to embrace any identity they just discovered because it may make them even slightly interesting.

Stacy: "omg I can't wait for pride month"
Margo: "me to girlie, you know I'll be wearing my rainbow gear because I have no defining personality or hobbies so instead sexual identity shall be my substitute"
