One of the most annoying fan bases in the world, neck and neck with Beliebers. Not only are they 12 year old little girls who have never heard a decent song in their lifetime due to being born into a dying age of good music, they are also little shits that always get what they want, and aren't used to being told "no." They even go as far to show love to the prepubescent members of One Direction as to threaten family members of other bands.

Boy 1: What's that shit sound coming from upstairs?
Boy's girlfriend: Sorry, my little sister is one of the Directioners.

Girls (mostly) who are completely consumed with One Direction. You insult that band and you get cussed out, hate hastags trending on twitter, called a Directionator, or killed. It takes complete obsession to be officially dubbed a Directioner. You can't just like their music or only like a few of them. They basically own twitter, and are either 100% against or for Zayn Malik.

psychotic girls who will literally do anything to have 1d notice them. they are the deadliest fandoms and send out thousands of hate messages a day. dont piss them off or insult one direction or the will kill you. their room decorations consist of one direction posters, one direction dolls, one direction bedsheets, and one direction everything. they try to find out where the boys are every second of the day. they are Class A stalkers.

CAUTION: Never get in the way of a directioner and her computer/phone. they will die without tumblr and twitter.

Psychotic, demented bunch of girls, usually from the ages 12-16 who swear by One Direction. They are usually too untintelligent to realise how awful their music actually is.

A bunch of obsessive psychopaths who do nothing but fangirl over their heroes on Twitter, stalk 5 (4 now) young men thinking in delusion that they'll actually meet 1D personally one day, and fight with other fans and everybody in the name of their heroes.

While the boyband itself just rakes in the cash.

Directionator

A person who claims they love One Direction and would do anything for them, but then decided to hate on the band members. Saying things like Zayn shouldn’t have left the band and that they don’t like him because he did. Zayn had plenty of good reasons to leave and you don’t seem to have any good reason to hate him. They also hate on Liam for little things that he did that aren’t a big deal. Directionators also tend to say things like “Treat people with kindness” but then hate on Zayn for leaving. Hate on Liam for unreasonable thing. Hate on Louis or Niall because they “can’t sing” Sometimes, they even have the audacity to hate on Harry for what he wears, his sexuality, etc. And some Directionators... they take it too far. Some even go as far to sexualize Harry. He has spoken about it and how this makes him feel uncomfortable many many times. People like these are the reason that he is very inactive on social media. Of course, it’s ok to think he is attractive but to talk about things that you want to do to him is just altogether not ok. He’s a person too and I hope one day, this all stops :)
