In the cab on the way home, it's all of the great things you SHOULD have said during the argument you just left.

Of course after he broke it off and left me speechless, I had all kinds of 'cab talk' for him on the way home!

Talk Block

verb:

occurs when one is trying to catch up with a friend and discuss dirt, but said friend's significant other enters the room and conversation must shift to "appropriate" topic so as not to upset the significant other or lead to unwanted interrogation. Significant other has "talk blocked" your conversation. Talk Blocker may also be any third party who walks into a conversation that the original parties do not want to share info with.

We were laughing about the parties we went to in college when her husband came in and talk blocked everything.

I couldn't wait to talk about what I wanted to do to him, but then his sister showed up and talk blocked, and we got stuck discussing her kids for an hour.

naked talk

Moment in a relationship when the infatuation that has defined the affair becomes more serious and things of consequence are discussed. The dialogue usually occurs in bed, post-coital, when the couple is naked in both the literal and figurative sense.

They had been carnal in their affair, reveling in a dream state of sex and passion, but eventually the naked talk occurred that forced them to focus, in a sobering manner, on what their tryst was evolving into.

n. A type of gossip mainly consisting of pointless drudgery to anyone outside of the conversation. antiquated discussion often of a sexual nature. only possible within a medium to large group of relatively horny, often unnatractivefemales.

1. Straight up, serious, factual communication.

2. Phrase sometimes included in a communication to convey to listeners/readers that the speaker/writer is not joking, and will back up what they're saying with facts or fists. (see example in definition # 8).

3. Phrase commonly used by jackasses who think it makes them sound serious, hard or knowledgeable.
