They all have big noses. They try to dress to stand out of the crowd. They all deny they are scene kids, just to apparently not look like a poser but they all are because they're insecure and uncertain. they have dead dyed hair and have to straighten their hair all the time. Sometimes the chicks curl it but only occasionally. Popular key terms that are familiar that come with this scene kid includes but not limited:
side kick, hair bow clips, flashy jewelry, salon done nails (for the higher stuck up scene chicks) slick straight hair, greasy hair (for the trashy trashy scene kids), messed up teeth(for the insecure high colored dressed scene kids) BIG OR ODD ODD ODD NOSES, maybe a small poor puppy (stuck up scene again), teased hair, hello kitty, eye lashes, thick eye shadow, thick eye liner, rainbow colors, stupid sayings that are random and make no sense (again, for attention so someone can think they're actually unique and original, but actually pathetic) flats, boots, high heels, plaid, gay emo screaming music, poppy music, drives VW Beetle, all about peace and war, pale, smokes, no future, says they're going to be a psychologist or a cosmetologist, wants revenge on ex's. secretly likes twilight, whores, man whores, gay, lesbian/bi, EXTENSIONS, has a new piercing every week and decides to grow it back in, pierce it again, hip piercings that look meaningless...

Well the first definition would be the fake scene kids that ruin the name of real scene kids.
They generally listen to hardcore music and crunk bands and wear band t-shirts they bought at hot topic and colorful skinny jeans.
They also have myspace names like Terrifying Tyler or Cory Chaos or Amazing Amanda, and they cut there hair as if a retarded monkey jerking off did it.
REAL SCENE KIDS.
Kids who go to local shows and support there scene they generally wear skinny jeans and band shirts but local band shirts that they bought at shows while talking with there favorite band that no ones ever heard of, these kids are way color then the fake myspace douche bags so don't be tricked and support your scene!

at the moment all of the scene kids are growing out their a-frames (long in front, short spikey in back) so it is a mullet dyed black. the front should be shorter then the back and there should be short bangs, not the ones that go over one eye. also one small section of the hair should be dyed another color or there should be another color coming from the roots down. oh and dont forget to not wash your hair you want the grease. the Greaser the better (its more scene)

scene kids- kids around the ages of 14-19 that go to EVERY hardcore/emo show there is in a 50 mile radius just to prove they are HXC.
scene boys- pretentious womanizers that try to pick up preppy girls by wearing makeup and tight pants that shows off their "junk". some unfortunately succeed.
scene girls- sluts that find any excuse to say things like "that's so sex" and wear little bows in their hair and think that planes and dinosaurs are the shtt. Try to pick up scene boys by wearing what they do but most of the time fail miserably b/c the boys are going after Abercrombie whores.
scene boys and girls- both look stupid when they'rehardcore dancing and all have black or bleached hair combed at mishapen angles. oh and they all have a myspace and check it 97856748330485 times a day. Obsessed with picture comments and cry when no one talks to them online.

In the UK, a bizarre mixture of an emo and a chav. The new 'it' trend, scene kids can be noticed by their lack of fashion sense. This includes:
- skinny jeans. They wear no other type. A female scene kid may wear some kind of faux-goth skirt.
- 'chav' brands such as Nike and adidas.
- single coloured hoodies (usually black or grey) with a single repeating image, ie blue stars or pink hearts.
- tight t-shirts
- many belts. Belts may contain pop-culture references such as Spongebob Squarepants or band messages.
Scene kids enjoy the company of other scene kids, but nobody actually knows what the term means, or who defines it.
They are camerawhores, myspace whores, bebo whores and whores in a sexual way.
To a non-scene kid, they are difficult to be around, confusing and irritating.
Many scene kids believe they are God's gift to the world.
Some may use the term greeb or greebo as an insult. They don't know what this means either.
A: God, C was being a total greeb earlier. I can't believe she was asking me what being a scene kid meant!
B: I totally agree. C's such a dirty greebo.

Okay here,
Scene is WAY different from emo.
EMO: Black hair, quiet, cutting, sad poems, dark colores
SCENE KIDS are VERY different,
Bright colors, lively, happpy, go to concerts, choppy hair, colorful extensions, myspaces, super rad words, hott boyfriends.
Most have white-ish blonde hair, or black hair
with colored streaks in them ex: Bleach blonde with black streaks, black with blonde streaks, or rainbow colors
Loud music, rock, grindcore, hardcore, some screamo.
Hate posers, fakes, wanna-bes.
Super cayoottee flats for girls
Vans slip-ons
Ballerina Skirts and leggings. girls
band t-shirts.
Face piercing
tattoos.

gloomybear
