Indie Music

Pretty bad music.

Every indie band sounds so much alike that all the musicians are interchangeable.
Indie musicians aren't very good at playing their instruments and probably learned all that they know from The Beatles.

Werewolf by Cocorosie

"Wow, that song Werewolf really speaks to me, I love her voice. I really think that song is what indie music is truly about"

"Really? Well then you must literally know nothing about music as it is nails on chalkboard. But whatever, we all have different opinions. I just think that a line should be drawn somwhere..."

Dance Music

Background music for making out and/or dry-humping in the middle of a crowded dance floor.

Friend 1: That dance music in the club was nice.
Friend 2: Come on; I know why you really liked it.

Country Music

The type of music that makes people suicide more than any other. Look it up statistics show that people who listen to country music tend to commit suicide more than any other. The reason for this being the anger is always brought in and the blame rested on yourself rather then getting your anger and sadness away.

I do not wish to include and example with the word Country Music in it.

Music Video

The quickest and easiest way to get people to buy your CD by manipulating them with half naked women.
If you make it intriguing enough it will somehow create the illusion that your song is good.

OMG! That music video was so awesome! I loved it! That must mean the song is desirable as well!

the music industry

every one of these bands sound exactly the same. just the same crap that was big ten years ago but a cheap imitation if that. It's soulless, frank zappa would say "That's pretty white" talent is one thing but substance is just as important and if your just going to mass produce a genre without adding anything to it to make it your own I say your wasting peoples time.

"Don't you just love the music industry? Music is wonderful! This new band I've been listening to is really great! They are great musicians, and their songs are great!" said Paul.
"Look up The Music Industry on urbandictionary.com Paul." replied Benjamin
