deep purple

A great british classic rock band from the 1970's. Their music consists of heavier, more raw songs that are the basis of heavy metal, together with intricate, longer and more progressive songs. For example: The song April, about nine minutes of it is a Baroque melody played on keyboard and guitar.
Greatest songs: April, Child in Time, Black Night, Smoke on the Water, Lazy.

Deep Purple is a great band.

4 deep

A more "gangster-oriented" term which suggests that a group of people (clique) are together in a certain environment, mainly a car. The number can vary depending on how many people there are in a given area.

Those niggas were riding 4 deep in the '69 Camaro.
My homie is having a party. They are 20 deep in the hotel.

Bush deep

To have done a large amount of cocaine; typically more than an 8-ball in one night. The term derives from President George W. Bush's cocaine use during his college years.

Daniel: Dude, you're looking a little on edge?

Deep Roy

Only the baddest bad-ass dwarf on earth. Pound-for-pound could take Sylvester Stallone and Chuck Norris combined. Born in 1957 in Kenya to Indian (dot not feathers) parents, he's been acting for a long time.

Is the only actor to have had a part in the Star Wars, Star Trek and Dr. Who franchises.

He was the guy who played the Oompa-Loompas in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He was awesome. As usual.

Purported to be a super-nice guy. Not a drunken ass-clown like that guy from Jackass.

Deep Roy: Oompa, Loompa, doom-pa-dee-da

If you're not greedy, you will go far

You will live in happiness too

Like the Oompa Loompa doom-pa-dee-do

Deep in the cups

Drunk, deep in the throes of drinking many alcoholic beverages.

She was so wasted, she was deep in the cups!

Alternative: Man, stuff is strong. I am deep in the cups!

fist deep

1. So far into a task that there is no turning back.
2. Not quite balls deep, but still fully invested in the task at hand.

The writers of Sharknado were already fist deep by the time they realized how terrible the movie was.
