trail runner

A runner of the more hardcore variety who enjoys running in wooded areas. A paved bike path is NOT a trail. Anything paved in any fashion is in fact, not a trail. A trail runner enjoys the elements. These include, but are not limited to, rainstorms, snow, wind, cold, heat, etc. A trail runner is generally more laid back than a road runner, and yearns to connect with nature and their bodies. Some obstacles trail runners may face are:
rocks, roots, streams, snakes, spider webs, bears, mountain lions, gigantic hills (mountains), mud, fallen trees, branches that stick out into the middle of the trail, very, very long drops that may result in death if they should happen to fall off a single track trail, dehydration, tons of blistering...

Trail runners often run much longer and farther distances than road runners do, including 50k, 50 miles, 100 miles. Many can be found in California, but are found across the US including Colorado, Virginia, West Virginia

Runner's Poop

The urge to poop during or right after a run.

I was running at a good pace, but the runner's poop sneaked up on me at mile five and I had to turn back.

The slight boner you get after running a prolonged period of time or after a race.

"Dude I just ran 10 miles and I've got a little bit of a runners chub."

tail runner

A person, who will purposely wait for an attractive runner to run by so they can stare at said runners bum, bouncing ta-tas, and or strike up a conversation.

Holly waited patiently for Emily to run by, she didn't consider herself to be a tail runner though.

ho-runner

noun; person who enjoys the courtship of hos. He/She usually will delight in this pastime because of the ease with which a ho is conquered sexually.

Rice Runner

A derogatory term referring to Asians of any sort, usually those who have moved out of their home country, hence "running from the rice" paddies.

I ordered pork fried rice, but the damn rice runner gave me chicken.
