sucker's luck

Something you have when you've been exiled. People have often given up after they have had this.

For many cases of this, it feels like a trial. Some people may come to the conclusion that they have this too quickly.

You've got sucker's luck
Have you given up?
Does it feel like a trial?
No, you're thinking too fast
You're like marbles on glass

Ziggy luck

Really really bad luck. Shit luck. The worst luck possible.

Bad luck that can actually lead to death; by dehydration, famish, or cow falling out of the sky.

Bad luck that follows one around his entire life.

Shit man I cant believe Dean's parents burnt down his room. What Ziggy luck!!!

I cant believe I lost a 400 million dollar winning lottery ticket. Its because of my fucking Ziggy luck!!!!

Dude did you hear everyone survived the plane crash, except for one guy who had insane Ziggy luck. His luggage fell on his head after the plane was successfully landed and killed him!!!

luck-up

a person who, while being clearly ignorant in every sense of the word, is bestowed with financial, romantic, and professional success; not to be confused with people who have strong skills outside traditional mesaures of intelligence or practice clueless behavior to disarm their opponents--a luck-up is truly dim and impossibly lucky

Tom: Man, did you hear about Harry?
Dick: Don't tell me--he's quit his job to start making kitty condos--and is wife left him?
Tom: No, he sold his Crusty Crab franchise for $50 million.
Dick: Another $50-ball? That guy is amazing.
Tom: Yeah, and he traded up the wife for a 25 year-old physical therapist!
Dick: That guy is one major luck-up

Lucked Out

Depending on the type of luck you are refering to, i.e. good or bad, this phrase either implies a positive or negative statement. It implies that you recieved as much luck as was possible whether it be good or bad, aka you rode your luck untill it ran out, or simply just ran out of luck.

It should never be 'lucked in' as that just doesn't make any sense!

'Yeah, I lucked out with the weather today' - Foo Fighters concert held during a night that was supposed to have heavy rainfall and instead got little, or
'Nah, I lucked out with the weather today' - Was not able to play tennis due to huge rainfall.
