Punk ain’t no religious cult / Punk means thinking for yourself
You ain’t hardcores ‘cause you spike your hair / When a jock still lives inside your head / Chorus: Nazi Punks / Nazi Punks / Nazi Punks - Fuck Off! / (repeat (Chorus)) / If you’ve come to fight, get outta here / You ain’t no better than the bouncers / We ain’t trying to be police / When you ape the cops it ain’t anarchy / (Chorus) / Ten guys jump one, what a man / You fight each other, the police state wins / Stab your backs when you trash our halls / Trash a bank if you’ve got real balls / You still think swastikas look cool / The real Nazis run your schools / They’re coaches, businessmen and cops / If a real fourth reich you’ll be the first to go / (Chorus) / You’ll be the first to go / You’ll be the first to go / You’ll be the first to go / Unless you think…

punk is not a look, its a life for many. It means you stay in an apartment with 20 other people, sell your blood for food money, disregard law but don't try to break them, and own 1 outfit. Now that's punk, none of this blink 182 bull crap with kids buying shitloads of hair gel and dying it green.
No one on this site is punk for they have enough cash to buy a computer.

1. A follower. A person too insecure and too ignorant to form a personal opinion and become a unique person.
2. A cheap street hoodlum who is all show, no blow. He picks on small, unarmed people and hasn't the balls to rob someone larger than he is.
Punk: Hey, man, gimme your money.

1. A hardcore and faster form of rock made famous by the genre of music garage rock or mod.
punk music was an underground form of rock in North America and Australia in the early to mid 1970's while it became a sensation in the UK.
In the later 1970's a new form of punk emerged. This was a more hardcore and anti social version of punk rock starting a rivalry between old school punk fans and a much younger crowd of hardcore punk rock.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's an even newer era of punk began. That being New Wave. This was a different kind of punk. One because most people did not call their music punk rock any more but instead New wave. This era included bands such as Talking heads, Blondie and The police.
The next wave of punk rock comes in the 1990's to present. This wave of punk includes bands such as Nirvana, Bad religion, Green Day, the offspring and many more bands. Also screamo is another sub genre of punk. Screamo and emo are the most current sub genre of punk.
2. Punk. A lifestyle not a trend.
Somebody wants to know what punk is. He notices that I have a skate board and like green day. Three months later he talkes to me again and says I learned to skate am I punk now? And I say no your a poser.

Punk is an attitude. The attitude is I am unique, I'm not a follower. I do what I like because that's ME. Mostly punks have had an anti big government message. The True punks of the 70's: Ramones, Clash, Melvin's they didn't wear the clothes the punks do today. The look you see now is 80's "NewWave": zippers, pins, mo or fauhawks and bleached or crayola colored hair.
True punks just exist the don't try to stand out or cause trouble. Punks are peaceful creatures that want equality for all. When I see the punks of today with the anti-capitalism message wearing the HotTopic or Angry, Young and Poor clothes I laugh my a$$ off. Guess what droog? you've just put more money in to the capitalism machine! Think about it! Todays Punks (teenie boppers under age 21) are either having an identity crisis or just like to be seen. aka POSER.

A movement started in the 70s by bands like the Sex Pistols, Ramomes, Casualties, Clash, Runaways, Dead Kennedys, Mc5, Misfits etc. Grunge, a form of punk include bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains etc. which is also punk sort of. The genre is bassically a faster paced form of rock bordered on rebellion. Now punk is being ruined by bands like Good Charlotte, Blink182, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne etc. who try so much to be punk up to the extent where it becomes incredibly unpunk. In my opinion they should just be themselves and not try so hard. The stereotyped style for the punk rockers include thing and accessories like studded belts, tattoos, multicolored hair, body peircings, mohawks, practically any article of clothing colored black etc. But any true punk rocker would know you don't have to dress the part to be the part. Real punk rock bands are hard to find these days, Green Day sold out when they changed their sound so it could appeall more to the masses.
Johnny Rotten is a punk god.
