oreo shake

A fucking pedo-y thing to do. Unless, of course, you like fifty shades of grey.

John: Hey, I gave that girl an oreo shake.
Miguel: The fuck? Dude, that's disgusting. You didn't feed it to her, did you?
John: Of course I did. I spoon-fed it to her.

A-Shake

Noun An awkward handshake.

A convenient expression used to admit to a misinterpreted social interaction involving physical contact in order to see the irony in it and in most cases make a better (more symbiotic and mutually prepared) handshake

Could be used in other social interactions such as:
Fist-bumps
High-fives

Pewdiepie and mr. Septiceye meets on the supermarket and says hello to each other. Pewds is going in for the "up top" and mr. Septiceye is greeting him with a fist-bump. An akward moment arises as they both freeze and begin to realise what situation they are in.

Pewds says: "holy sh*t that A-shake though" - and laughs.

Mr. Septiceye responds with a laugh and says: "Yeah bro, totally. Come here" - and they both go in for the hug. An extremely awkward situation got averted because pewds had done his research into awkward handshakes and could respond to the situation in the best way possible.

Shaking off the Doom

Detoxing from any drug, but especially alcohol. The mentally and physically uncomfortable (and potentially fatal) withdrawal process which accompanies ceasing the use of one's drug of choice on one's own, i.e. without medical assistance.

"Shaking" refers to the "tremors" (shaking uncontrollably) which accompany this process.

"The Doom" refers any and/or all of the following: 1) the consistent and delusional feeling that something horrible and unstoppable is on the verge of occuring; 2) the "shadows", i.e. visual hallucinations which are the result of "delirium tremens" and/or insomnia; 3) the existential dread, terror, and regret concerning the very real possibility of death from withdrawal; and/or the intense nausea which causes one to be unable to "keep anything down."

Shaking off the Doom does not necessarily incapacitate, in that someone could, for example, still go to school or work while being in the process of it. Oftentimes, however, it is, temporarily, physically and mentally crippling. The Doom is shaken off when one is able to resume normal functioning.

Person 1: "Are you ok? You look like death!"

Person 2: "Yeah, I'm just shaking off the Doom. I've been drinking hard for three weeks straight, but ran outta money and booze."

Would you like some fries with that shake?

A reference to a song by Parliament-Funkadelic leader George Clinton. Which in turn was referenced in the 1997 children's film Good Burger. Sometimes the phrase is mistaken to be a sexual reference, but it is not. It instead references combo meals at fast food restaurants. The phrase is a male asking a woman to go on a date. So instead of just being a solo shake, a reference to feminine hips, he's asking as a hearty spud himself if they can be a combo. Due to the joke's fast food theme, it implies that the male is asking to take her out to lunch.

Dude: Would you like some fries with that shake?
Dudette: Sure, but only if you take me out for a good burger.
