Seeming as though every single definition for this has been about the fake version, I'm going to say the real one :) Dreamsexual is when you only feel attraction during your dreams. This is on the ace spectrum.

A person who only experiences sexual attraction in their dreams; not to be confused with “Dreamsexual” the made-up sexuality of a person attracted to a certain famous minecraft player “Dream”

1) The less popular use of the term: Part of the LGBT+ community, and specifically the asexual spectrum. It refers to someone who does not experience sexual attraction, except during dreams. A person who is dreamsexual would be asexual during wakefulness but allosexual when dreaming.
2) A term invented by fans of the YouTuber Dream who wanted to be internet trolls. Overshadowing the real and valid definition, Dream fans decided to turn their fandom into a sexuality, even going as far as creating a fake pride flag that looks a lot like the grayromantic pride flag. Unfortunately, this definition has overshadowed the other one on the internet.
Definition 1:
- I'm dreamsexual, which means I don't experience sexual attraction unless I'm dreaming.
Definition 2:
- What do you mean, your attraction to Dream is a sexual orientation? Isn't that simply a celebrity crush? Celebrity crushes are valid, but they aren't separate orientations. That's not how that works.
There are two types of dreamsexual, depending wether or not you are retarded.
1. Dreamsexual is an ACTUAL sexual preference that only finds sexual or romantic attraction in ones dreams. Like not having any crushes when you're awake, but you do when you are having a dream. I would prefer to call it Sognaresexual or Yumesexual.
2. Dreamsexual is a term coined by 7 - 12 year olds to express love for a Minecraft Youtuber named Dream. A lot of people call these people fatherless, orphaned, or a failed abortion. Just to be clear, this term isn't valid, and they're just people making fun of people who are actually LGBTQ+. Please don't do this.
