A man who is relatively unattractive but not to the point where no woman will sleep with them. Ironically, this unattractiveness becomes the Pity Player's greatest asset, as hordes of women are attracted to him out of sheer pity, hence the title Pity Player.

Pity Pancakes

When, the morning after a personally trying event, your parent or significant other voluntarily makes you breakfast out of sympathy.

Man, yesterday I was fired, failed a test, was rear-ended, and got a parking ticket... but today I feasted on chocolaty pity pancakes made from scratch! Thanks, mom!

Pity fishing is an action when the "fisherman" complains about something in there life just to get pity from their listeners.
Someone who complains about something just so others can here them to give the complainer pity.
Pity fisherman are also usually compliment fishers (see compliment fishing)
