Band-aid Break-up

The broads and blokes who perfected this art are notorious for breaking up with you so fast, you don't even know what happened...like the ripping off of a band-aid. This no-nonsense approach stings everytime, but it sure beats dancing around the issue for a few days.

You thought you were going to enjoy a lovely afternoon of sushi and sailing. Wrong. Before you can pull the chopsticks out, you realize your eyes are brimming with tears and then you hear, "Check please."

Your Friend: Hey, why are you back so early? Weren't you supposed to go out for putt-putt golf and a movie?

You: Umm, that's what I thought. Instead, it was a band-aid break-up. Right before the 4th hole, she just spun around and told me she doesn't see a future for us.

Your Friend: Ouch. Wanna do some shots?

[Acute] [Marching] [Band] [Withdrawal]

Acute Marching Band Withdrawal is the influx of negative emotions that occurs directly or shortly thereafter the terminus of a marching band season. Coincides with having too much free time on weekends.

Bob: Pat, why are you so down?

Pat: Because marching band ended...I have Acute Marching Band Withdrawal

Bob: Shouldn't you be happy? You have free time, now.

Pat: But nobody talks to me during band class anymore, and I don't hang out with any of my friends

Bob: Quit your whining. At least you're better than the football team...

Inner Thigh Band-Aid

Putting a Band-Aid on your inner thigh symbolizes that you have/are going to take a fat shit.

Guy 1: Hey, did you see that girl walking out of the bathroom?
Guy 2: Yeah, she had the inner thigh band-aid, that shit must've been massive.

All-Star Band Member

The oldest, middle-age band member who plays music with the other teenage band members, hoping to get famous and leave their crappy day-job. These blokes have a short temper and are the most immature of the members, frequently throwing tizzy fits about minuscule obstacles that might hinder the fame they deserve.

"Dude, who was that guy who just threw a tantrum over the argument not directed towards him?"
"Oh, haha that's Qis, he's an All-Star Band Member"
"bro, I thought he spilt his non-concentrated juice for a second there"

That One Time at Band Camp

An expression used by band nerds (like me). It causes the speaker to talk about their fondest or worst memories at band camp. Makes me feel old.

Calm Of Chaos Band

A Band from Kent, Ohio formed in 2009. Brought together by Vocalist/Lyricist James Christian and Lead Guitar/Vocalist Kayla Turk. Calm Of Chaos's early demos were recorded in Kayla's home studio and later praised by over thousands of fans on myspace. Soon after Doug Callahan joined the band as Bass, Devin Mays as Rythm Guitar, and Dom Iacoboni as Drums. They are currently working on their first LP which a song known as Memories of Broken Pain has been pre-studio recorded and sampled on their myspace to hear the change in vocals. Just google "Calm Of Chaos" and click the 2nd link to hear.

Singer James Christian has been told by few to improve on his singing which was too flat in their early recordings. Now after 5 months of vocal training, James is now ready to show everyone what he has learned and improved on. Many say the pre-studio recordings are "very efficient and sounds a hell of a lot more better" then the early demos.

Calm Of Chaos is now writing and preparing new tracks for their upcoming LP recording this fall at Conquistador Recording Studio in Lakewood, Ohio. Calm Of Chaos is also looking at many label opportunities through the studio which include,

Century Media Records
Metal Blade Records
Black Market Activities
Columbia Records
Rust Records
Rotten Records
Innerstrength Records
Candlelight Records
Interscope Records
City of Kings

You hear that new band Calm Of Chaos Band? I can't wait for them to play their first show!
