When you have an argument on the counter
Mikey and I had a counter argument last night
When a person says something so dumb, you look your friend in the eyes and just see a piece of him die. Most of the times they're arguing more to prove you wrong then the opposite. The topics for said arguments are most of the times pretty stupid.
Felur: "Dude if the earth keeps getting warmer and warmer we'll evaporate due to global warming".
Kantor:" Bro it doesn't work like that, global warming won't evaporate us".
Felur:"But... but... it will.. because..".
Kantor:"Shut up, this is honestly such a you argument, literally a Felur Argument".
For people that live together- one who watches the news vs one who has their own thoughts and does NOT believe ANYTHING he reads or sees
we are ALL living in an argumentative reality!
Similiar to the word arguing but not interchangable, it's used to denote civil and intellectual discussions between people.
As civilized intellectual minds of society, we were argumenting, NOT arguing!
Is a logical fallacy which describes the situation when someone bases their argument on a comically superficial statement/comparsion.
You are making argument of cringe logical fallacy.
The logic whereby nothing you do is ever good or pure enough.
Named after the core example where someone can be on a diet and no matter how effective it is, there's always someone who will criticize some dietary choice you made, the logical conclusion being that the only way to prevent this from happening would be if all you ever ate was chard.
Happening more and more in left-leaning circles where people frequently criticize other people for not being "woke enough".
"I lost 50 pounds in 3 months!"
"oh but if you'd have cut rice out of your diet, it would be so much healthier."
"yeah, thanks for throwing the chard argument at me"
Happy arguments day! On this great day everyone takes their anger out on you and everything goes to sh*t
"whats the day today?"
"National argument day!"
