Mostly a term used in describing a footballer playing well for the team but also can be used in other situations too. It pretty much means "doing good things" or someone excelling/working hard.

"Did you watch the game today? Pogba was doing bits."

A small amount of time to be away. Usually about thirty minutes.

bit of rough

British. A date or sex partner who is of a lower social class. Similar to 'wrong side of the tracks'. Usually male.

Ken is a bit of rough John picked up recently. Ken's his bit of rough.

Whits bits is an english expression for the untanned regions after a sunbathe. This expression isn't very well know especially among females but has been said on Monty Python

A tounge in cheek explanation from programmers as to why an old program no longer works, even if it hasn't been touched in years.
Also applys to the decay of physical storage mediums.
