As a noun—
1) Empty form: Used in conversation to achieve a goal or manipulate a weaker person.
2) Weak form: Tossed around casually in conversation. Implies that the object is strongly liked.
3) Middle form: This form is used as an excuse or forewarning before a potentially rude statement
4) Family form: This form is usually the most enduring. Evolutionary explanation—people “love” members of their family as a method of protecting their genes. Romantic explanation—you can pick your friends, but you’re stuck with your family, so you might as well love them (also, there’s no place like home)
5) Best Friend: Best Friend form can fluctuate between the level of Family and the Strongest form, depending on the variables involved. A good example would be Jay and Silent Bob (see “hetero life mate,” though one should note that best friends can be of any gender)
6) Strongest love:
a. This last form can be best recognized by the fact that it “grabs you by your whole body.” Poetically, it can lift you up and let you fly, or it can crush you under the mud. Usually it is felt between two people in a dating relationship, although love for family members can reach this level.

1) The act of feeling one of the noun forms of love
Uses (as they correspond to the noun forms):
1) If you love me, you’ll buy me this.
2) I just love strawberry shortcake!
3) Honey, you know I love you, but you look simply hideous in that.
4) Goodnight, mom and dad, I love you.

Love ≠ Passion ! Love = Friendship ! Not many people understand it, but the real definition is : Sentimental feeling towards a friend, brings love for ever, sentimental feeling towards a person, brings hate for the whole life ... Passion disappears and creates hatred !
You don't love a person because she/he is beautiful ... The person is beautiful because you love her/him !
Love has many different synonyms, such as : affection amity amorousness amour appreciation enjoyment happiness fidelity like sentiment respect worship and mostly WEAKNESS
Antonyms are in great number also, but the most sensual are : dislike hate hatred

Apart from an over used word?
A totally unexplainable feeling that can not be described in any way possible, but there are two things, One, When you feel it while with them it’s the best feeling in the world, nothing surpasses it. Two, when you feel it without them it makes you feel bad and yearn for their presence, but you still feel that happy feeling somewhere inside and it confuses you terribly.
Although the feeling of love is not describable some of the things that are symptoms I guess, of that feeling are things like, or include the following:
(These are in no particular order)
-A complete trust that your thoughts and feelings and other aspects (if not all aspects) of your life/self will be safe in the hands of another.
-You can’t do anything without thinking about them.
-Longing to hold them (or be held by them) and be with them.
-Wanting to be with them every second of the day.
-Without them with you feel empty inside and incomplete.
-The desire to learn (everything about the one you love) and to teach (everything about yourself.)
-Knowing that they will always be there for you no matter what happens.
-An intense devotion to him/her.
-Knowing that nothing else matters more than them.
-When you accept the other person entirely and completely.
-Knowing if you were without them you could not live.
-Love makes you look down on everyone else, because they do not feel what you feel (presumably.)
-Everything seems better when they are in your life, they make the sun a bit brighter, the birds chirp a bit louder, your heart beat a bit faster and there is a spring in your step too.
-It makes you feel like you are stuck in a dream.
-They make you get butterflies in your stomach when they look at you and they make your pulse race when they touch you.
-It’s not to be mistaken for lust.
-They can make time stop dead in its tracks when they kiss you.
-You would go to great extents for them.
-Sometimes you just want to break down in tears for no reason at all.
-Love is reciprocated.
-When they tell you they love you it makes your heart weak and your chest tighten.
-When you think about how they love you (and you can’t believe it) it almost brings a tear to your eye.
-It makes you blind.
-It makes you happier than you have ever been before.
But everyone feels love differently, in his or her own way. This is just what I feel. There is probably other things I cant remember at the moment or other things other people feel.

Love is tricky. So so very tricky. You can think your in love one moment and realize you never were the next. True love however is a feeling that never goes away. It makes cracks in your heart and sits there, true love cannot be defined it comes in all different forms and emotions. One thing is certain it is what is left after the infatuation. Everything makes sense at that point.
