narcissistic blackout

A phase in a young woman's life when she gets so self absorbed that she becomes completely unreachable. All attempts to make contact with this person are in vain, for all approaches are assumed sexual advances and unworthy ones at that.

Has Lindsay answered her phone yet this week? She left her dog's ear medicine in my car and i think it's really important we get it to her .

That dog is as good as dead. Lindsay's been trapped in a narcissistic blackout ever since she decided to become a stripper

Urban-Narcissist

One who constantly posts their name on urban dictionary, thinking that it is cool and original, or just a way to raise his/her ever increasing ego just a bit more. Often times the definition begins with "the sexiest", "the handsomest", or "the most incredible" "guy/girl in the world". Then continues to narcissistic rambling. When playing the urban dictionary game, Urban-Narcissistic definitions are easy to come by and best deserve a "thumbs down".

Narcissistic lasso

A method used by narcissists to put their victim in a such a state of confusion that the issue or problem that the victim originally brought up is forgotten. Narcissists lasso their victims in by vehemently arguing that they, the narcissist, are the victim in the relationship. Soon the real victim feels inprisoned, helpless and confused about whose view is legitimate.

Rebecca thought that Felix was disrespectful of her until Felix used the narcissistic lasso to make her believe that she was the one who was disrespectful in their relationship.

Narcissistic Pouncer

Someone who pounces onto a conversation, relating what you are talking about to something no one cares about...usually something about themselves!

Guy:Hey, there is a new bar in Dinky Town called "The Library". It's introducing "super thirsty thursdays"

Narcissistic Gal:OMG, OMG, that bar is Awesome. It has maroon carpets...same color my bridesmaids will wear when Mark and I get married!

Guy: Ohh c'mon, we're talking important things here. Don't be such a Narcissistic Pouncer!

John: They're fine, I guess... So, wha—

Henry: Oh, I've also met this girl at the bar and she's taken a shine to me. I think she may be the one, as well! She's nice and sweet and she thinks I'm handsome, too! I already knew that, but it still feels nice when someone tells me that.

John: You're being pretty narcissistic, Henry.

Henry: What? No, I'm not.

(Henry is a closet narcissist).

Narcissistic abuse

Narcissistic abuse is a term made by "empaths" who have no idea what narcissism is. This term is often use to bully and mistreat those with NPD and to label them all as abusers by default which of course, isn't true. Narcissistic abuse isn't a real type of abuse or term and is ableist to use.

"empath": "my dad is a narcissist. I suffered narcissistic abuse because of him."
Educated person: "is he diagnosed with NPD? Then he isn't a narcissist. And even if he was, NPD doesn't abuse you. The person does. Saying "narcissistic abuse" leads back to a community of people trying to survive with a disorder. You mean emotional abuse or mental abuse etc. Blame the abuser not the disorder"
