A girl (who is usually studying Gender Studies) who aggressive adopts a lesbian identity late in the first year of University/College study. However by the time graduation rolls around (unlike an actual lesbian) they have abandoned this identity and are often engaged to a soon to be doctor, lawyer or accountant.
The term was used at least as far back as the early 2000s by the sex and relationships advice columnist Dan Savage.
"I'm going to come out to my folks at Christmas time."

1. The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Can be used in place of any answer. Lesbian Black Magic (commonly referred to as LBM) is a generic answer used to respond to any question.
Other generic answers in this category are "because," "42," and "Chuck Norris," other words that will answer ANY question.
2. The strongest power in the universe. The Force can't even compare to LBM.
Guy 1: "What's the answer to number four?"

A lipstick lesbian is a woman who is putting up a front of being a lesbian when in fact, she is merely curious about lesbianism.
The use of the word lipstick refers to the fact that these women are putting up a sexual facade similar to the facade that women of all sexual orientations put on when they apply make-up. Make-up hides the real woman underneath, and a woman who is a lipstick lesbian is also similarly putting on a front. While being with a woman is something they have desired, they ultimately are just curious and not serious.
Lesbian1: That girl has been flirting with me all night! I'm going to make my move.
Lesbian2: Don't bother. I tried for the last month and she won't do anything except kiss. She's just a lipstick lesbian.

This term first originated on a private World of Warcraft RP server when it got messed over and stupid people got to play Dragons. There were some ERP freaks amongst them and basically all they did was have crazy lesbian dragon buttsex, even though some of them had other duties such as GMing. When the original server went down the biggest lesbian dragon buttsexer even made his own server to have lots of lesbian dragon buttsex all over the place.
