Asperger's Syndrome

A terrible, debilitating social and psychological disorder. Symptoms tend to include high intelligence, saying what you mean, being straightforward and realizing that the majority of social interactions are bullshit. Contrary to popular belief, the disorder does not inhibit ability to have feelings or cause an inability to empathize or have friends. There is no cure for Asperger's syndrome, and sufferers are burdened by having to put up with people's patronizing small talk for their whole lives. People with Asperger's are actually the normal ones, it's just that most people are melodramatic morons who insist on overthinking everything and pretending that they're being subtle.

Neurotypical person 1:how are you feeling today?
Neurotypical person 2: Fine (trying to indicate that they feel like shit).
Asperger's Syndrome "sufferer": Fine (indicating that they feel fine WHICH IS WHY THEY FUCKING SAID FINE)

Asperger's Syndrome

Just a sceintific neurological term for one with a superior mind to that of a common human. Generally dose not care about social life because he knows that in the long run they have no meaning. Often times, a human with this advantage has an area of near absolute knowlegde, commonly a mathmateical subject. However, it is not unusal for one with this variation of autism to have a vocabualry superior to that of his peers. Within the limbo of autsic and normal, humans with asperger's syndrome are form two words.

However, the common man (because of his natural fear of what he dose not understand) often considers a man with said advantage to be a retard because of his lack of social skills. But intellectually speaking, humans with asperger's syndrome are more intelligent than the common man. Hyperlexia is also common amongst these neurological variations of humans.

"I have asperger's syndrome, therefore I am mentally superior to that of my jock peer. BWAHAHAHA!!!"

Asperger's Syndrome

A very real neurological disorder, related to autism, that has been overdiagnosed to the point where genuine cases of it are no longer taken seriously.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 1993, back when hardly anyone had heard of it. Nobody has any right to say that something with which I have dealt all my life is not real.

Asperger's Syndrome

A neurological disorder that makes social interaction extremely difficult, like something as simple as starting a conversation with someone you barely know. The cause for it is still unknown, but researchers are still trying to figure out the cause for this form of autism. Those who have Aspergers Syndrome are often labeled as odd or eccentric, because we are used to being in our own world. Since we're usually outcasts in large groups of people, we go towards our interests, in which we are very brilliant at.

Symptoms vary depending on how mild or severe one's case is. People with this condition usually have trouble fitting in, are often the victims of bullying (throughout high school), and happen to have narrow interests on things in which they are very passionate about. For example, they will have a fairly good amount of information concerning movies, trains, geography, puzzles, etc. It'll almost be like they know every single detail about their interest to the point where they have almost a professor or encyclopedia equivalent knowledge about that subject that they know so much about.

If you have it (which I do), have no fear. Although we may be bad at keeping friends and maintaining a conversation, we're gifted in many things that we enjoy the most. Never let this condition get you down, because you are special and have a very bright future to live for.

Idiotic Guy: You're weird and geeky.
Smart Guy: I have Asperger's Syndrome, get used to it.
Idiotic Guy: (trying to think of a comeback) Well....you're still friggin' weird.
Smart Guy: When was the last time you memorized every quote from "American Pie" and were not afraid to perform in front of people? That's right, you don't have my traits, which I'm talented in.
Idiotic Guy: (speechless)

Asperger's Syndrome

The real Asperger's Syndrome is part of autism. However, some posers decide to be "autistic" and start self-diagnosing themselves as those who Asperger's Syndrome. Not only do they make it seem more like a poser disorder, they make real aspies want to beat the living shit out of them.

The example would be an emo kid who labels herself having Asperger's without a doctor who knows shit. I'm not much into emo shit so I knew that emos try to look cool using other people's diagnoses. What about being Bi-Polar and having that emo use that diagnosis sent by the doctor instead?

BTW, I know better than to proclaim to have Asperger's Syndrome even though I'm been diagnosed with one by the doctor. It is not glamorous or hot. In fact, it makes me too much like Phil Fry when I walk around in the city.

Asperger's Syndrome

A real-life mental disorder, related to autism, that only about 2-3% of people claiming to have it have actually been professionally diagnosed by a psychologist.

Sometimes known as "Ass Burgers". Sufferers (emphasis on sufferers) are sometimes calles Aspies or "ass pies".

Here's a protip: People with mental disorders usually don't brag about it like it's a badge of honor, especially a form of autism. It's always worth a good laugh to see every awkward, socially-inept, angsty teenager who has ever gotten beat up by the "jocks" in school claim to have Asperger's Syndrome to justify being an utter loser.

Asperger's Syndrome

A mild form of Autism that, most notably, stunts social interactions and/or makes them very awkward. People with Asperger's (abbreviated to AS) have trouble interacting with people, mostly out of fear that they'll make it awkward, or that they'll say something wrong.

Other symptoms of Asperger's include lack of eye contact, sensitive hearing, and obsessive behavior. Unfortunately, people also tend to self-diagnose themselves with Asperger's, trying to have an excuse for any social awkwardness they may experience.

Since people with Asperger's are normally terrified of the neurotypical (or nypical, if you want to use an Aspie's term) world, we tend to focus more on academic/non-social lifestyles. For example, we may focus on music, art, literature, or solo video game playing.

Since I was in 1st grade, I knew I had Asperger's Syndrome. However, now that I have an understanding as to what it is, I have a proper explanation as to why I've acted the way I have all my life, what with social awkwardness and fear of staring contests.
