City in Southern Ontario, known for it's high ratio of Crime to Population. This is largely due to a lack of employment, restless youth, crack addiction, and a lazy police force.
It holds (or at one time held) the record for Car Theft Capital of Canada (per capita, after the prarie provinces cracked down on their rampant car jackings), Highest Teen Pregnancy rate in Ontario, Highest crime rate in Canada per capita, and "Best blooming city" for it's flower displays (in which you can often find old burned spoons and needles)

The worst city in North America. It often gets compared to Windsor and as a resident of Windsor we find this offensive. Our city has its problems but it’s nothing like Brantford. It’s much poorer, dirtier, dangerous. It has a higher number of crimes than we do and we have more than 2x their population! At least we try!
Stop comparing Windsor to Brantford, it offends us Windsor peoples.
Canada’s city that it wishes could be forgotten. Most criminal activity falls on deaf ears and doesn’t get reported. You’re more likely to get away with murder here than find someone with all their teeth. Shitty as hell and has a lake full of mutant fish from all the drugs
I moved my family out Detroit to give them a betta life. lived there for 26 years and relocated to Brantford cause housing prices were cheap. We been here for 3 years almost and I’ve had more violent encounters here than my years in Motown. We moving out of this city next year cause It ain’t much better than Detroit. I’m not saying it’s worse but it’s been worse so far. They got as many ghettos and projects as we do cuh. Brantford gives Canadian ghettos more respect from us American ghetto niggas.
