Being tailed or followed. Usually related to aerial combat but can also relate to police chases etc.

slang term for attempting to land an aircraft that is on fire, badly damaged, under attack or carrying unexploded bombs.

"Bravo-2 to Bravo-3. Watch your tail; you're coming in hot."

"Delta-Tango to Tower. We're coming in hot! request immediate assistance, Over."

To arrive at a point/location in an uncontrolled manner and often with excessive speed. In certain situations, this can also involve the use of a weapon of some sort.

Guy A: James made an ass of himself at Dick's party last night.
Guy B: Why's that?
Guy A: Ahh, he saw this group of hott females and decided he wanted to make a go at them.
Guy B: Yeah.
Guy A: Well, he got so geeked up that he ended up coming in hot, knocked over a bunch of shit, and pissed the girls off. They cursed him out and left the scene.


The S.W.A.T. team was coming in hot as they put several bullets into each one of our hostage takers, as well as an innocent bystander. Hey, at least it wasn't me.

After eating at that Mexican restaurant, Ray was coming in hot.

A phrase that musn't be explained but holds much meaning in positive influences in collaboration, togetherness, affirmation, and general awesomeness of such DeWolf did not take any part in creating.

Also used: "did not come in hot" or "came in cold" or, informally, "come in at a reasonably warm temperature."

"Dude, you just came in hot right there."
"Attaboy."

"You did not come in hot just there."
"I know."
"I'm going to shank you."

"Are you coming in hot?"
"You bet your ass I am."
