When you dont feel like your former self, the biggest burden you have to carry in life is your life. The last thoughts of happiness in your life seem so distant that you dont recognize the person you once were. You want your life to end but sometimes putting in that effort to end it seems impossible. We are trapped underneath the weight of our failures, where we feel we deserve to be.
Depression is When you want to be happy but the tears running down your face and the burning inside your heart are to much to live with, you feel as if your nothing more then a vessel wondering an empty world where noone can see you and the thought of dying is the best you can possible have.

Symptons of depression:
1~sadness, tearfulness, crying, frequently showing pervasive sadness by wearing black clothes, writing poetry with morbid themes, or having a preoccupation with music that has nihilistic themes. Also, crying for no apparent reason.

Most difinitely NOT a mood; it is NOT something that one can get over by friends making them laugh. Depression is an illness just like diabetes or cancer that affects the mind and needs to be treated just as urgently. Can be fatal. It is a horribly unbearable feeling inside that does not go away.
Take a deep breath in, hold it, take another breath in. That pain that you feel is the start of depressive feelings. Now pretend you haven't slept in 4 weeks and your body hurts like you have a flu. That is sorta like what depression feels like

Whether everything is wrong, or nothing is wrong you still just don't see a point in trying anymore and making an effort to even move is too much work and you just don't see a point in anything anymore and you can't control it and you just feel so awful all the time and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it and the worst part is that it never goes away. Even when you're having the best day of your life, it's still just lingering there in the back of your mind.
I'm so upset, it's like the depression is taking over me.

That feeling you get when nothing is right. Where your always sad, or you cant find any reason to live. When you walk around in public with a fake smile and a positive attitude. When you can save everyone but yourself. You feel alone, helpless, and abandoned. You feel like nobody loves you anymore- and you have nobody to talk to you. You feel so alone and scared- you want to give up. But you cant. Your losing losing your mind- your faith. Your falling from grace, and your just all over the place. There's nobody to talk to and nobody to run to. Your lost inside and want to give up.
Sad people that fake a smile everyday are usually suffering depression.

Something so deep that hurts you all your life. Something you canβt get rid of no matter how hard you try. Makes you feel like no one cares and no one loves you. It gets to the point when you think your life is worthless and you think that if you die no one would even care. It gets so bad that you start to self harm yourself to try to take away the emotional pain inside you. You start pushing away everyone, even your family. You start to icolate yourself from everyone around you. You think that you are alone in this big world and that no one understands you. It hurts so much it causes some people to commit suicide. Depression isnβt a joke and if you make fun of someone maybe think twice before you do it. You donβt know what they could be going through, and never tell anyone to kill themselves.

Depression, is a chemical imbalance in the brain, it's much more complicated than not being able to think positive all the time. You cry and everything hurts and your heart, feels like it's ripping, like it wants to come out of your chest cause it hurts. Your brain in the battle field, your at war with your brain, fighting and fighting all this sorrow. You stand still while everyone is walking, your the sad face out of all the smiley faces. Your screaming inside, and you just want it to end. And it hurts. Depression, is much more complicated than not being able to be positive all the time.
This depression is killing me
