EDM

An acronym for "Electro house, Dubstep, Moombahcore." Typically used by inexperienced DJs and DAW jockeys to describe the style of music they are trying to produce.

"Hi, I'm a producer from the suburbs. I produce and DJ EDM music. EDM is my favorite kind of music and I want to be like Skrillex and Afrojack when I grow up. I pirate all my software because my mom won't increase my allowance."

EDM

Ecstasy demanding music. Music which a sane individual cannot enjoy or even tolerate without the heavy usage of drugs, ecstasy in particular.

I love EDM music.
-Yeah, I do drugs too.

EDM

1. Electronic Dance Music. A broad category to describe electronic music suitable for dancing including but not limited to house, trance, techno, drum and bass and any respective subgenres located therein.

2. Shorthand used by dance music noobs that don't want to accidentally trigger a dance music fandom with an incorrect assumption of a track's genre.

3. Generic term used to dumb down dance music when talking with someone that calls it doof doof or wubwub.

1. Deep house, acid house, French house and progressive house are four examples of house music, which is one of the oldest genres of EDM.

2. "Check out this new Aly & Fila track! They're my favourite trance act!"
"Meh, their vocal trance sucks. I only listen to their uplifting trance."
"It's all EDM tho, right?"
*grrr*

3. "Bloody kids and their doof doof music! Oops ... I mean bloody kids and their EDM! Bloody EDM! It's political correctness gone mad!"

EDM

Basic mass marketing. An horrific mash of electronic 'styles' brought into one easy to handle nursery music for the types that have absolutely no taste in music and want to simply be part of something huge.

The biggest lie about this crap is that it 'starts people on the way to more serious music' .

the worst thing to happen to electronic music yet.... (apart from trap)

'edm is my life duuude..'

'youre a twatheaded twitter hungry social media twat..'

EDM

EDM stands for electronic dance music. It is very similar, if not the same, as techno. It is more than often wordless and is either hated or loved by people. It is a rather repetitive genre of music and is often used in games. Two of the most famous EDM artists are Calvin Harris and the Fat Rat.

Tim : Don't you love EDM ? Here, listen to Unity by the Fat Rat.
Sean : Fuck off with your EDM shit
Dylan : Let me listen, I like EDM
